With your commitment and determination, I may be able to help you with:

In the performing arts
For the truly committed, hypnotherapy could be an effective way to stop smoking.
Top excuses given for smoking:
"I smoke when I am bored"
"I smoke when I am busy"
"I smoke when I am sad"
"I smoke when I am stressed"
The reality is THEY JUST SMOKE!
SMOKING AS RELAXATION
The main reason given for smoking is for relaxation.
Nicotine does seem to have a sedative effect at first. This is actually due to carbon monoxide in the cigarette depleting body oxygen causing lethargy not relaxation.
The next thing you usually have to deal with is addiction.
Nicotine is a very seductive drug - it gives the smoker an immediate 'fix'.
This 'fix' lasts for approximately seven seconds and the body then awaits the next one.
The need for these fixes inevitably leads to addiction.
We are all aware of the many reasons to stop smoking but the main one is the effect it has on our health.
And of course, there is a financial impact because of this addiction.
It isn't getting any cheaper to smoke and, due to government law, it's difficult to smoke in public without feeling like a pariah.
SMOKING AS IDENTITIY
Smoking is a habit that operates on many levels, the most powerful one being on the identity level.
When someone says "I am a smoker" they 'own' the statement.
If you notice, very few people say "I smoke".
The first issue to be dealt with when someone wants to stop smoking is how they are going to identify themself.
This can sound strange to a non-smoker, so next time you speak to a smoker listen to how they describe themselves!
SMOKING AS RITUAL
Ritual smoking is something you've probably been doing 10 to 30 times a day.
From the opening of the packet, lighting the cigarette, the first drag on the cigarette, placing the ashtray etc.
This process usually takes between 10-15 seconds.
The process of smoking has actually become a ritual.
And in order to break this ritual, you must first be aware of it.
STOP SMOKING USING HYPNOTHERAPY
As an ex-smoker myself (up to 60 cigarettes a day) I was desperate to stop. Smoking was affecting my both my health and my finances.
Coming from a family of smokers, I witnessed their struggle to stop smoking.
They tried various techniques, from will power to patches, none of which provided a long term solution.
I gave up smoking in 1995 after trying hypnotherapy.
I have not smoked since.
If you are truly determined to stop smoking, hypnotherapy could be an effective way to stop.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hypnosis is a condition that involves:
A reduced awareness of surroundings & distractions
An enhanced capacity to focus the mind
You allow yourself to enter a hypnotic state so that your unconcious mind can concentrate on a focussed idea or objective.
Most hypnosis sessions only require a light trance state to be effective.
No drugs or medication are involved.
WHAT'S THE EXPERIENCE OF HYPNOSIS LIKE?
The actual experience of being hypnotised is difficult to describe unless you have experienced it, as I have myself.
It's best described as being neither asleep nor awake.
Most people would say it's simply a very pleasant state of relaxation.
